Limpopo is South Africa's Northern most province of the nine. Its geographic location provides easy access and packaging into the SADC regions.

Limpopo's Northern region, some 100km from the Capital City of Polokwane, is the only place in the country that can truly be called the "Tropical Paradise" as it is geographically placed in the subtropic, i.e. between the tropics. Simply put, the Tropic of Capricorn, traverses this part of the globe and the difference in biome and weather patterns are over emphasized.

The implication of this phenomenon is that most citrus exports, avocados', and myriads of other agricultural produces is exported from the province lending a huge potential of the Agro-Tourism sector which is yet to be fully exploited. Furthermore, the province experiences a very mild climate all year round making it an ideal all-year round destination.

Culturally, the province is an indigenous home of four distinct tribes viz. N.Sotho (Pedi), Venda, Tsonga/Shangaan and the Ndebele, some of whom still practice their age-old customs and traditions. This makes the province, the most culturally rich and very diverse if you add other minority cultures and tribes such as the Afrikaners.

The province is divided into five districts with the Capricorn district in the centre, where the capital city is based. Mopani and Sekhukhune are on the east of the province with both districts bordering the Province of Mpumalanga and Mopani has the western boarder of the world-famous Kruger National Park as its eastern border. Invariably this part of the province also provides access into Mozambique through the Kruger National Park (KNP). To the North and the West, you will find the districts of Vhembe and Waterberg respectively. Vhembe provides easy access to Zimbabwe through Beit Bridge, Africa's busiest land border. Waterberg dominates the Western Border of the province and the country providing ease of access into Botswana.
