LANGLEY 1st XI made the long journey to Irby at the weekend and, for the second week running, disappointed in all departments.
Having won the toss, Langley elected to bat and after a 60-run opening stand between Robin Smith and Matty Doggart, the batters showed a severe lack of patience on a very good deck.
Batsman after batsman gave their wicket away as Langley were bowled out for 205.
Only the excellent Smith with 118 off 86 balls and Adam Cartwright, 34, deserved any credit.
