Home’s dancing queen to step out for 102nd birthday

Margaret has only recencely stopped dancing and could still do the splits in her 90s

PRESTBURY Beaumont care home in Macclesfield has launched an appeal to ensure one of its wonderful residents reaches her 102nd birthday in style.

Former ballroom dancer, Margaret Harrison, will be 102 next Monday and the care home is asking for the help of the local community to ensure Margaret has 102 cards to help her celebrate her special day.

Margaret will be joined by staff, family, friends and other residents as she enjoys a champagne reception held at the home and a special birthday cake to mark the occasion made by the home's talented head chef, Nicky.
