First ace for Steve after 50 years of playing

STEVE Kleiser enjoyed the experience of getting his first-ever hole-in-one after 50 years of playing golf (on and off).
A delighted Steve said: "It was not in a competition just a Men’s Tuesday Roll Up with the 9-hole group.
“It came on the third hole off the yellow tee 133 yards to the hole
“I hit my Adam's Tightlies No.7. Hybrid 24 degrees loft.
“My Calloway No. 3 ball flew high and straight and I heard it land on the green. The flag was positioned in the middle of the green but you can’t see the hole because of the mound in front of the green.
“I was playing with Jim Stone, Donald Cameron and Dave Travis. When we got to the green my ball was nowhere to be seen.
“I checked if it had gone through the green then tentatively looked in the hole and there it was.
“I called the others to me to watch me take the ball from the hole and to verify that it was my ball.
“When we had established that I had made a hole in one there were handshakes and congratulations all round.
"Jim took a picture of me, ball in hand, by the pin.
“They all putted out and we walked to the next tee.
