Firefighters tackle blaze for ten hours

AN INVESTIGATION has been launched into the cause of a large blaze that took firefighters 10 hours to tackle.

Crews were called to Ridge Hill, near the Hanging Gate, in Wincle, in the early hours of Wednesday, May 21, as flames took hold of an outbuilding then spread to surrounding grassland.
It came less than 24 hours after firefighters were also called to put out a campfire that had been left unattended at Clarke Lane, Langley.
