SALFORD coach Paul Rowley said he was not looking forward to watching the game against Wakefield Trinity again – despite winning 20-0.

Victory not enough to please Salford coach

Full-back Ryan Brierley scored a try in each half as Salford eased to victory over relegation-threatened Wakefield at the AJ Bell Stadium.

Andy Ackers also scored while Marc Sneyd had a perfect night with the boot – kicking four goals from as many attempts.

But it was a game short on quality, a point acknowledged by Rowley and his opposite number, Wakefield coach Mark Applegarth.

“The positives are that we nilled a team,” said Rowley. “But one could argue Wake field nilled themselves with the amount of errors they came up with.
