DRAMATIC photographs capture the demolition of a major bridge over a motorway in Greater Manchester.

A section of the M67 is closed throughout this weekend while work is carried out to replace the St Anne's Road bridge in Denton. Drivers travelling between Manchester and Sheffield have been warned to expect disruption due to the closure, between junctions 1a for Denton and 3 for Hyde.
Work to demolish the eastern side of the bridge was completed in August 2023.
