ROTHLEY Park took sole control of top spot in the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League Premier Division table with a six wicket win over Kegworth Town giving them their seventh league win in a row.

Kegworth batted first and were all out for just 127 despite a spirited 46 from Reinhardt Engler. The pick of the Rothley bowlers was Nil Patel with 4-23.
In reply Rothley lost an early wicket when Anish Patel was out for 13 with the score on 15-1 but the defending champions rallied and an unbeaten 40 from Chris Yates steered them to 128-4 and a six wicket win.
