TODAY marks the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week 2025, a UK-wide campaign organised by the Mental Health Foundation. It aims to raise awareness, reduce stigma and encourage people to prioritise their mental health.
This is something that I've remained fearlessly dedicated to supporting since losing my dad, Martin, to suicide in 2017 - which led me to set up The Martin Gallier Project in 2019.
The project is the UK's first and only suicide prevention, intervention and postvention charity. We embrace a human-first approach to intervention, driven by our team's own lived experiences of suicide.
