Garner pushes Blues to strive for net gains

JAMES Garner has called on his Everton side to start putting the ball in the back of the net and revealed why playing with Iliman Ndiaye is so easy.

Sunday's 3-0 defeat was also the second consecutive game in which the Blues have failed to score, while Moyes' side have only managed to score nine times in nine Premier League games so far this season.
And reflecting on the match, Garner admitted: "I think we were probably the better team in the first half and second half, but, at the end of the day, you've got to put the ball in the back of the net, and we didn't do that.
"We gave away two sloppy goals in the first half and then, ultimately, we were chasing the game and the third one comes from exactly that.
