Funds secured to restore Grade II listed boating pond

A MUCH-LOVED boating pond in one of Merseyside's most picturesque villages is to be restored after funding was secured.

Port Sunlight's Grade II listed boating pond and accompanying Sea Piece fountain have been out of action for five years.
This was due to significant structural issues that meant the water in the pond was leaking into the ground beneath.
