AHEAD of this afternoon's League
Two fixture against top of the table Bromley, Tranmere Rovers boss Andy Crosby has called on his players to find stability and improve their performances during the second half of the season.Rovers will be looking to continue their winning start to 2026 and record back-to-back league victories for the first time this season when they play hosts to Andy Woodman’s high-flying Bromley.
The Super Whites have had a mixed first half of the campaign and currently sit 17th in England's fourth division.
Crosby said he was pleased with recording seven more points than his predecessor Nigel Adkins managed at this stage last season, but he believes that his team still have more to offer.
He said: “We want to be more consistent in the second half of the season. We want to gain some momentum.
” The points total we have got now is way ahead of last season, but we want to be better, and we should always be striving for better, individually and collectively.
“We are ready to win games of football. Our home record hasn’t been good enough this season and the more we win matches, the more support and enthusiasm we get from our supporters.
“Tt is our job to go out and win to entertain them”
