Law and disorder... MARION MCMULLEN marks the 30th anniversary of BBC sitcom The Thin Blue Line
BLACKADDER writer Ben Elton and Rowan Atkinson joined forces once again for The Thin Blue Line.
The BBC1 sitcom launched 30 years ago on November 13, 1995, and was set in the fictional Gasforth police station.
Rowan Atkinson led the police team as the rule-respecting Inspector Raymond Fowler, with Serena Evans as his long-suffering girlfriend of 10 years as well as his second-in-command Sergeant Patricia Dawkins.
