'Residents have had enough' - MP as sewage floods estate

AN MP has demanded urgent action after an estate with longstanding drainage issues was flooded with sewage during recent downpours.

Neil O'Brien, the Conservative MP for Harborough, Oadby and Wigston, has called on Severn Trent Water and developer Vistry to come up with solutions to the problems in Meadow Hill, Wigston.

The recent heavy rain caused drains to overflow with sewage, leaving residents facing deeply unpleasant and unsafe conditions.
