Pitchfork 'decided not to challenge decision to deny parole'

DOUBLE child-killer Colin Pitchfork has decided not to challenge the Parole Board's latest rejection for his freedom.
Pitchfork, pictured, raped and strangled 15 year olds Lynda Mann and Dawn Ashworth in Enderby and Narborough in the 1980s.
His latest bid for release was rejected by the Parole Board on October 30.
It also said Pitchfork should not be moved to an open prison, saying the decision was based on the risk Pitchfork poses to public safety and that protecting the public was its "number one priority".
