Man being questioned after three house fires said to be 'deliberate'

BLAZES ALL REPORTED WITHIN 14 MINUTES OF EACH OTHER EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING
A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a series of three house fires yesterday morning.
The blazes at three properties, all within a mile of each other in Ashby, were reported between 7.05am and 7.19am.
Two teenagers and a woman were taken to hospital.
The force said that one of the teens is being treated for burns and smoke inhalation, while the other people were treated for smoke inhalation.
Their injuries have been described as “not life-threatening or life-changing”.
Officers said they believe the fires were caused deliberately and that they are being treated as linked.
