Hospice club families get first chance to see panto

FAMILIES supported by Loros hospice have been the first to watch a pantomime.

Highcross Leicester invited the families to an exclusive first performance of its popup pantomime, Santa's Secret Workshop.

Before the curtain rose, children from the Loros Chance Club - an after school group for bereaved young people - were given a behind-the-scenes tour of Highcross, followed by a meet-and-greet with Santa.

Loros is the shopping centre's charity of the year.

Running until December 23, free 20-minute panto shows take place twice every hour, inviting visitors to join Santa's elves on a mission to fix a candy cane mix-up and save Christmas cheer.
