LEICESTER City may not be in action until Saturday, but some of their players have been - with Jordan Ayew captaining Ghana to a victory that sees the country qualify for the World Cup finals.
-
Ayew played almost the full 90 minutes of a 1-0 victory over Comoros on Sunday.
Abdul Fatawu was an unused substitute as Tottenham Hotspur winger Mohammed Kudus’ goal helped Ghana to the finals with a record of eight wins and a draw from their 10 games.
Patson Daka started for Zambia, who were beaten 1-0 by Niger on Sunday, finishing fourth in Group E, on nine points from eight matches.
Janik Vestergaard played for Denmark as they beat Greece 3-1 to remain top of Europe Group C after four matches, ahead of Scotland on goal difference.
Hamza Choudhury was potentially in action for Bangladesh last night.
