‘Anniversary party’ at village hall turned out to be a far-right rally

TRUSTEES MORTIFIED TO DISCOVER NATIONALIST GROUP HAD ‘TRICKED’ WAY INTO USE OF VENUE
THE trustees of a Leicestershire village hall claim they were “tricked” into hosting a national far-right conference after the people who booked the venue said it was for an anniversary party.
Trustees at Long Clawson Village Hall said they only discovered afterwards that Patriotic Alternative had held an event for 200 people there last Saturday.
Patriotic Alternative describes itself as a nationalist group and was launched in 2019 by Mark Collett, a former leading member of the British National Party.
