WE were absolutely delighted last week to be contacted by Kate Mills, Cheadle Town Mayor, who informed us that she had chosen Cheadle Animal Welfare Society as her nominated charity for 2025.
Mayor Mills is very appreciative of the work which we do for the animals in the Staffordshire Moorlands and beyond and will undoubtedly do her very best to raise our profile and raise funds to help our Waifs and Strays. We are looking forward to working with her.
Lucky to find a new home last week were black and white feline brothers, Ben and Boomer. They have settled in straight away and are often seen cuddling up together so we are happy that we waited to find them a home where they could stay together.
Also finding a lovely home was their mum, black and white cat, Darby.
