Sanctuary trio ordered to quit

- By Robert Pittam

ALMOST 100 animals rescued from death by a Reapsmoor sanctuary are facing a new crisis this week.

For shocked staff at the Finehaven animal home the good life they created out of a derelict farm turned sour when their landlord ordered them to quit.

Now they are engaged in a desperate search for new homes for almost 100 animals, many of whom were rescued by the sanctuary from agonising deaths through ritual slaughter.

For the animals it is another cruel twist on their chequered lives, but for the people living at Finehaven it’s the end of a dream and they face bleak future with no jobs and nowhere to live.
