Properties hit with power cuts multiple times each day

Homeowners in the 'Field' roads off Sharoe Green Lane are seeing their power go off for sometimes five minutes or sometimes five hours in the past week-and-a-half and for up to eight times in a single day.

Electricity North West say there is a fault in an underground cable which will be damaged in the area but they have been struggling to trace what is known as a 'transient fault'.

It is understood dozens of Fulwood properties are being affected at any one time by the power cuts-and not always the same properties. Postcodes affected are PR2 9RR, PR2 9SU, PR2 9TD, PR2 9HB, PR2 9SA, PR2 9RS, PR2 9SB and PR2 9RZ.
