'Groundhog day': Anger over plans for more houses

Plans to extend a housing estate in a Chorley village have been put on hold by councillors amid concerns over the capacity of the area to cope with an influx of new residents.

Members of Chorley Council's planning committee voted to visit the site in Charnock Richard to see it for themselves before deciding whether to approve a bid for another 57 homes.
