EU deal is 'surrender' and a 'total sell-out'

The Government's new UK-EU trade deal has been met with criticism after agreeing to grant European fishing trawlers a further 12 years' access to British waters.

And Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was accused by the Conservatives of having "surrendered" many of the gains they negotiated post-Brexit.
The deal requires “dynamic alignment” - the UK following rules set by Brussels - in areas covering a new agreement to slash red tape on food and drink exports and imports (SPS), emissions trading and potential cooperation in the electricity market.
