Pantomime back on bill at Galleon

Do you remember the time the Galleon hosted a pantomime?

It may sound like the start of a corny joke but it'll be a genuine question locals will be pondering in the coming decades once the Palace Theatre is back in action.

The truth of it is, it shouldn't really work but it absolutely does.

If we're being honest, the circus tent at Ayrshire Athletics Arena was a nice idea - if you were hosting a pantomime in the summer rather than December.

But the team at East Ayrshire Leisure and Imagine Theatre have done a tremendous job of transforming the sports hall at the rear of the leisure centre for Sleeping Beauty.
