UTLBC’s Special Drives Bring Forgotten Savings Back to Citizens

In a bid to simplify the process of reclaiming long-pending financial assets, the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory Level Bankers' Committee (UTLBC) organised Special Facilitation Camps in Reasi, Rajouri and Anantnag under the nationwide initiative "Aapki Poonji, Aapka Adhikar - Your Money, Your Right.
The programme is part of a threemonth campaign launched by the Union Ministry of Finance's Department of Financial Services (DFS) in coordination with RBI and other financial regulators.
The camps assisted citizens in tracing unclaimed bank deposits, dormant insurance proceeds, inactive mutual fund units, unclaimed dividends, shares and other assets held with various institutions.
