KCCI Welcomes India-Pakistan Ceasefire

The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has welcomed the Ceasefire between India and Pakistan, viewing it as a pivotal step towards restoring peace and stability in the region.

“This development brings significant relief to the residents of Jammu and Kashmir, who have endured the hardships of recent hostilities, including loss of lives, damage to property, and widespread fear,” KCCI in a statement said.

“As a longstanding advocate for peace and economic development, KCCI believes that the cessation of hostilities offers an opportunity to rebuild lives, communities, and trust. The Chamber commends the leadership on both sides for their commitment to dialogue and de-escalation, and acknowledges the efforts of international mediators who facilitated this agreement,” it said.
