DC Budgam Takes Review Of Self-Employment Schemes

BUDGAM: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Dr. Bilal Mohi-ud-Din Bhat chaired a comprehensive review meeting of various self-employment and livelihood generation schemes being implemented across multiple departments.
The meeting, held at the DC office complex, covered flagship schemes including PMEGP, MUMKIN, TEJASWINI, HADP, SMAM, MIDH, NRLM, NULM, and various credit-linked subsidy programs under Handicrafts, Handloom, Animal Husbandry, and Horticulture sectors.
During the meeting, scheme-wise performance from April 1, 2024 to June 24, 2025 was reviewed in detail.
It was apprised that out of 23,969 applications received under various schemes, 12,793 cases have been approved while 16,574 cases were sponsored, besides 9,245 units stand established, with 4,529 cases sanctioned by banks.
