MARGATE-BASED husband-and-wife duo Ruby and Steve Dass are on a mission to shake up the snack aisle - one bold Desi bite at a time.

Forget soggy samosas in sad plastic trays, Curry Smugglers is aiming to blow the dust off South Asian snacks and they're doing it with craft beer-style cans.

Launched in 2024, their line-up of street-food-inspired snacks includes spiced Pakora Clusters, crispy Chakli Spirals, and their signature Canned Bombay Mix - all made with the flavours they grew up on, reimagined for a new generation of snackers.

Inspired by their Indian heritage and childhood holidays packed with street food, spice markets and family recipes, Ruby and Steve set out to create snacks that represent the vibrancy of South Asian food - with packaging that turns heads and flavour that turns up the heat.
