PLANS for a new education and training hub have been added to a proposed waste-to-hydrogen facility in Manston.

Hydrogen TE (HTE) has announced a community outreach programme to accompany its larger energy project, which was submitted for planning approval in March of last year.
If approved, the £120 million facility would become the UK's first plant to convert household and commercial waste into clean hydrogen.
The proposed 13-acre site, which HTE says is designed to blend with the Kent countryside, would process an estimated 44,000 tonnes of waste each year that would otherwise be sent to landfill or incineration.
