Killed MP daughter's moving plea

A MURDERED MP's daughter is backing our campaign for a national monument to honour those affected by acts of terrorism.

Katie Amess's dad Sir David, 69, was stabbed 20 times midway through a constituency surgery by Islamic State fanatic Ali Harbi Ali.

Katie is also determined to keep fighting for a public inquiry into the fatal attack on the Tory Southend West MP.

She said: "As the daughter of Sir David Amess MP, who was so cruelly taken from us, I know all too well the pain and devastation terrorism inflicts, not just on the individual lives lost, but on the families and communities left behind.

"That is why I wholeheartedly support the campaign.
