TV STAR Omid Djalili has been a vocal supporter of the protests in Iran and shared numerous updates on social media since they erupted.

The 60-year-old comedian, left, whose parents emigrated from Tehran to London in 1958, has shared six days of posts around the uprising - which began in the Iranian capital over economic concerns but has since spiralled into a wider cultural conflict with the regime.
