DAVID DAVIES is an NHS manager who walks on stage to Oasis track 'Cigarettes and Alcohol' - even though he doesn't smoke or drink.

And he comes with a Government health warning for Luke Littler because he beat the boy king five years ago and his head-to-head record against the reigning world champion is level-pegging.

Qualifier Davies, 40, faces mountainous odds when he tries to defuse 'The Nuke' in the PDC World Championship second round tonight, when Littler (right) is an almost unbackable 1-33 to win with the bookies.

But the Denbigh dark horse, who used up all his annual holiday and took unpaid leave to qualify for his debut at Alexandra Palace, won't be cowed by His Nukeship's Pitbull walk-on anthem.
