SONY has detailed the top video games coming to the PS5 in the first three months of 2026 and bosses are confident the machine will surge ahead of rivals this year.
First up is Arknights: Endfield, a space opera role-playing game out on January 22. It's an action and exploration-driven blockbuster set in a “lavish, yet hostile high-tech world”.
Then there's The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin on January 28. It's also an RPG but more colourful in design and anime in look where you and up to five players via drop-in/out coop can explore a massive open-world of monsters, dungeons, and a multiversal quest.
The month ends on the release of Code Vein 2, a fantasy epic where you play a Revenant Hunter 100 years in the past rewriting the landscape of the present.
Think big beasties and huge boss battles aplenty as you're joined by uniquely equipped partners to slay the demons.
February 6 sees the fan-wanted sequel Nioh 3 released.
Again an RPG, you play a hero with a blend of samurai and ninja skills to take the fight to a powerful calamity only known as the Crucible. As samurai Tokugawa Takechiyo, the fate of Japan rests on your blade, as his jealous brother's yokai hordes look to bring hell to humanity.
