'MANUFACTURED hurlers,' 'robotic,' 'constipated hurling,' they've heard it all in Dublin over a decade where they were largely a non-entity at the top of the game.

"This win would not have come as a shock to the lads in that camp"

This morning they're basking in the glory of one of the greatest shocks of all time - but can they back it up again in an All-Ireland semi-final against Cork in two weeks' time?

Former Dublin star Eamonn 'Trollier' Dillon was part of the side that won the 2013 Leinster title and pushed the Rebels to the wire in a last-four encounter where a red card for Ryan O'Dwyer was a key moment.

"Dublin hurlers have always got big wins here and there said Dillon. "It's just, are they able to do it again, and again, and again? That's where we fall down. We beat Galway and went and got beaten by Laois in the following games (2019 All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final).

"That's what I'm talking about. It's just being able to produce a performance off the back of a big performance and that will be the big test against Cork.

"The next two weeks will be great in training, buzzing going up every night and the buzz around the camp. All the lads will be flying going into work today. The next two weeks will fly in. They'll enjoy it but can they reproduce that performance again?
