JEREMY CROSS PSG 3 INTER MILAN 1 IT'S easy to think Inter Milan's name is on the trophy, given the remarkable circumstances of their semi-final victory over Barcelona.

But facing them in Munich just happens to be the best team in the competition. The French giants have suffered nothing but heartache in the Champions League, and couldn't win it even when they had Kylian Mbappe, Neymar and Angel Di Maria leading their attack against Bayern Munich in the 2020 final.

But what a job Luis Enrique has done.

He has built a formidable team based on youth and talent, instead of superstar names, with Ousmane Dembele scoring goals for fun. They will have too much guile and attacking prowess for Inter. And will be deserved winners.

LIKE for Manchester City in 2023, this is finally Paris Saint-Germain's time to win the Champions League after losing their first final.

It took 15 years for Abu Dhabi-owned City, bought in 2008, to finally win European football's biggest club trophy after falling to Chelsea in 2021.
