'Slammer gun' fired at house still not found

A “SLAMMER gun” allegedly fired by a youth at a house earlier this week has yet to be recovered, a court has heard.

A 16-year-old boy, who allegedly filmed the gun attack in Mullingar, Co Westmeath, was granted bail under strict conditions, including a curfew and social media ban, by Judge Bernadette Owens at Mullingar District Court yesterday.

She warned the youth it can be revoked “at a whiff of a breach”.

The teenager, who cannot be identified, was charged with unlawful possession of a slammer gun and criminal damage to the door of a residential property.
