'Sex assault victims need more help'

JUSTICE Minister Jim O'Callaghan said the country “needs to do better” at supporting sexual violence victims, as a new national campaign has been launched.

Today the State's national agency for coordinating Ireland's response to domestic and sexual violence, Cuan, launches a new campaign with the message 'Youre Not Alone'.

It aims to raise awareness about the various services available to victims and to let them know they will be listened to and supported.
