IRISH firm ePower says businesses need to prepare a policy around EV use urgently, as sales of electric vehicles continue to surge across the country.

Latest Society of the Irish Motor Industry figures show new EV registrations for July were up 57% compared to the same month in 2024. So far this year, there has been a 33.7% increase in registrations compared to the same period last year.

As electric vehicles become more popular among private users as well as fleet drivers, companies are faced with the need to provide and manage a new set of resources in a way that's fair and sustainable.
