EVAN FERGUSON couldn't resist ribbing Ireland team-mate Jake O'Brien as the Everton goal hero spoke after a tight Goodison battle ended all square.

O'BRIEN HAS TOFFEES EVAN THE RIGHT WAY

“Fluke!” jibed the West Ham loanee as he walked past his Boys In Green pal giving his own verdict on Corkman O'Brien's 90th-minute equaliser.

But there was nothing lucky about the last-gasp goal- either in its execution or the training ground planning that enabled O'Brien to stretch Everton's unbeaten League run to nine games under David Moyes.

O'Brien's thumping close range header as the game entered added time rescued Moyes and his men when it looked as if Tomas Soucek's 67th-minute strike would give West Ham all three points against their old boss.

O'Brien said: "I like to chip in with a few goals and I happily got on the end of a good cross.

“We are not just doing it collectively but individually after training with coaches. That is part of the training we are working on, getting into the final third, crosses into the box and creating chances. We have shown that, we are just unlucky we didn't finish them.
