Stranglers are gettin' freaky...
-
THE Stranglers are “going to get weird" when they hit the stage for Forest Fest in Emo village next weekend.
First formed in 1974, The Stranglers no bullsh*t attitude was embraced by the punk movement of the late 70s - and decades later the group still show no signs of slowing down.
Earlier this year the group announced The Stranglers 51, to celebrate over half a century of the No More Heroes hitmakers. Singer Baz Warne says even touring for decades there is still "a mystery and an interest" in the band.
"I don't know if it's so much as needing another tour,” Strangler’s vocalist and guitarist Baz Warne told The Scene.
“It's just for whatever reason, despite the fact that now there's only one original member left, and the fact that I've been there a long time, the drummers been in for nearly 13 years, I think we're just accepted and established, and it just doesn’t seem to show any signs of slowing down.
