Mum of lad with autism blasts services funding failure

THE mother of a young boy with autism has hit out after it emerged a Government fund for special needs kids has given nothing to vital services.

It was revealed in the Dail that not one cent has been paid out from a grant that was specifically set up 18 months ago to help children like Noah Quish, who has autism. The lack of support from the Disability Services Grant, which the Government announced in October 2023, was described by Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty as cruel and scandalous.
