LGFA told review is required

THE GPA says a survey which reveals 92 percent of female inter-county footballers want the rules to be reviewed gives a powerful mandate for change.

Ladies Gaelic Football Association (LGFA) chiefs have already begun a review process following the new rules which transformed the men’s game this year.

Of the 92 percent of players who want a review, 34 percent stated that a lot of change was needed, with 58 percent saying it is ‘somewhat needed’.
