FILM bosses looked here, there and everywhere for actors to play The Beatles and we now know who will play John, Paul, Ringo and George.

Sony Pictures is making four films about the Fab Four, all of them to be released on the same date, currently scheduled for April 2028.

Irish duo Paul Mescal, 29, and Barry Keoghan, 32, will play Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, while Harris Dickinson, 28, is cast as John Lennon and Joseph Quinn, 31, as George Harrison.

Speaking alongside the cast at the CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas, Sam Mendes, who will direct all four movies, described the films as the "first binge-able theatrical experience".
