Duo to be first Irish Prem champs in more than a decade

LIVERPOOL duo Caoimhin Kelleher and Conor Bradley will be the first Irish Premier League champions in over a decade when the title is finally settled.

It could be this weekend for Ireland's Cork goalie Caoimhin, 26, who missed out on a championship medal when his club won their 19th title in May 2020 because he did not make his league debut until December that year.

Conor, 21, who is from Co Tyrone and plays for Northern Ireland, made his league debut in January 2024 for a 4-0 win over Bournemouth, with Bradley providing an assist for Diogo Jota's second goal.

Liverpool need only one point from Sunday's match against Spurs at Anfield to be crowned champions for a record-equalling 20th time.
