WHAT A TALENT: Ann-Marie McGlynn is aiming to win a third successive Dublin Marathon
HAT-TRICK hopeful Ann-Marie McGlynn wants Fionnuala McCormack to run her first ever Irish Life Dublin Marathon — but is happy it won't be this time.
McGlynn, who turns 46 in February, has a real shot at a remarkable Irish Life Dublin Marathon three in a row on October 26.
After winning back-to-back national marathon titles in the past two years - finishing fifth and sixth in the race overall - the Letterkenny AC ace is hungry to go again.
“It's mad because this will be my 10th marathon and five of them will be in Dublin, please God,” she said.
“I just love it, even with the pressure. I just look at it as a privilege now because I'm coming to 46 and I'm still at the top of my game.
