'I feel bleak & lonely when I should feel happy and loved'

THE victim of Irish firefighter Terence Crosbie told the judge yesterday that her life has been "changed forever" by the attack in March 2024.
The 39-year-old Dublin man was sentenced to a minimum of seven and a maximum of nine years in prison at Suffolk Superior Court in Boston.
Judge Joshua Wall said the father-of-two had committed an act of "extraordinary sexual violence."
Crosbie has been held at Suffolk County Jail since March 2024 when he was arrested and removed from an Aer Lingus flight that was bound for Dublin.
During their closing arguments, the prosecution said: "He thought he could come to this state, to Boston, and rape anonymously and then skip town like it never happened.
"That's not how it works."
Before the sentence was delivered by Judge Wall, the victim took the stand and read a statement, detailing the destruction the attack has caused on her life.
