X-rated outburst as wheels come off for Tyrrell on 18th

- RICH JONES

TYRRELL HATTON admitted a foul-mouthed outburst at the US PGA Championship “wasn't his finest moment” as emotions got the better of him in a rollercoaster round.

And he wasn't the only Brit to jump up and down the leaderboard as Aaron Rai's chaotic day saw him suffer the same painful fate as Rory Mcllroy on day one.

Ryder Cup star Hatton came out firing with back-to-back birdies but made a triple-bogey seven on 18, the halfway stage of his round.

He reacted to his wayward tee shot with an expletive rant at his driver, screaming: "Piece of s***" at the face of his club after Sky Sports was also forced to apologise for when he shouted "F***!" in earshot of their TV mics in his first round.
