HALLOWEEN STORM FEAR
Irish Daily Star
|October 27, 2025
MET Eireann has warned it is currently tracking a monster Atlantic system that could become Ireland's next named storm of the season.
While there is still some uncertainty about its path and intensity, the national forecaster has flagged Thursday - the day before Halloween - as the potential day of impact.
It warned that the system could unleash weather chaos across the country.
Met Eireann has outlined the triple threat it could bring, saying: “There is uncertainty in the forecast but a spell of wet and blustery or windy weather is possible on Thursday or Thursday night.”
