Superstar can join elite club with third Gold Cup win
GALOPIN DES CHAMPS (4.00) can secure his place in racing folklore with an historic third Gold Cup in succession at Cheltenham today.
The Willie Mullins-trained nine-year-old would become the first Irish-trained horse since Arkle in 1966 to capture three Gold Cups and only the fifth horse of all-time to achieve the feat and the first since Best Mate in 2004.
